How do I order a cake?
To order you cake you can either pop into the shop, give us a ring or message us via email or facebook. You can pick your cake from our online galleries or we have books in the shop to look through. If you have a picture of the design you want, you can send it to us and we can give you a quote! We need a design & deposit on order to secure your date. Please order your cake for the date you would like to collect rather than the birthday date.
How much notice do you need for a cake?
We advise 4 weeks notice for cakes/cupcakes but can often do in less depending on availability. We also do simple last minute designs with just 1 weeks notice. Please always ask if you are need of a last minute cake – we do our best to fit people in at short notice!
How Much Deposit Do You Require?
The deposit depends on the price of cake you are ordering, usually the deposit is 50% of total price of cake. Orders £30.00 or under require payment in full. Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a deposit and we may no longer have availability for that date if you come back to us weeks/days after the initial enquiry. If the deposit is not paid within 24 hours of enquiry, please check we still have availability for your date before making payment.
How Long Will My Cake Last?
What do I do if I am not happy with my cake?
If for some reason you are not happy with your cake, bring the cake back to the shop and we can give you a full refund.
Please note – once the cake has been accepted and taken away from our premises, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur.
What Flavour Cakes Do You Offer?
All our cakes are priced for vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream. For £5.00 extra we do chocolate sponge with chocolate fudge buttercream or lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. We can also do red velvet cake depending on the design of the cake. We also offer rich fruit cake – please ask for these prices.
Where Can I Park When Visiting Your Shop?
We have free parking straight outside the shop!
Allergen Information
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for allergens or intolerances. If you have any allergens or intolerances please notify us BEFORE you pay your deposit as we will not be able to fulfil your order. All of our sponge cakes are suitable for vegetarians. Our cakes may contain nuts. Whilst there are no nuts in the ingredients of our sponge – it may contain traces. Our cakes also contain wheat, gluten, eggs, soy & milk.

Please Note Before Ordering: 20% of total price of cake is non-refundable if cancelled but can be transferred onto another cake if cancelled with more than a weeks notice. If your cake is cancelled with less than a weeks notice we keep the full deposit paid. This is due to time spent on messages, bank fees, printing costs & loss of other business due to your booking.
