How do I order a cake?

To order you cake you can either pop into the shop, give us a ring or message us via email or facebook. You can pick your cake from our online galleries or we have books in the shop to look through. If you have a picture of the design you want, you can send it to us and we can give you a quote! Please order your cake for the date you would like to collect rather than the birthday date.

 

How much notice do you need for a cake?

We require one week for a celebration cake, however we advise to book a month in advance to avoid disappointment. Wedding cakes we require 6 weeks. Please always ask if you are need of a last minute cake – we can sometimes do them with just a days notice! 

 

How Much Deposit Do You Require?

The deposit depends on the price of cake you are ordering, usually the deposit is 50% of total price of cake.  Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a deposit and we may no longer have availability for that date if you come back to us weeks/days after the initial enquiry.

 

How Long Will My Cake Last?

Your cake will stay fresh for up to two weeks from collection! The cake can be kept in the box it comes in and stored at room temp.

 

What Flavour Cakes Do You Offer?

All our cakes are priced for vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream. For £5.00 extra we do chocolate sponge with chocolate fudge buttercream, lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream or red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream. We also offer rich fruit cake or carrot cake – please ask for these prices. 

 

Where Can I Park When Visiting Your Shop?

We have parking straight outside the shop! 

 

Allergen Information

All of our sponge cakes are suitable for vegetarians. Our cakes may contain nuts. Whilst there are no nuts in the ingredients of our sponge – it may contain traces. Our cakes also contain wheat, gluten, eggs, soy & milk.  

 

Can I Have My Cake Delivered?

We deliver in Chesterfield for £5 and further afield is a little extra. We also deliver and set up wedding cakes please ask for a quote. 

 

Can I cancel my cake?

 Please Note: If you cancel your cake we keep 20% of total price of cake. If your cake is cancelled with less than a weeks notice we keep the full deposit paid.

**COVID19** Due to the on-going change in restrictions we are willing to transfer the full deposit over to another cake in the future if cancelled with more than a weeks notice. If a cake is cancelled with less than a weeks notice we keep the full deposit paid.
